and I never thought I would say that.
Truly one of the best adaptations I have ever seen and the only one that I have just watched twice over.
It is so well written and acted, with more realism, depth and characterisation than anything I have seen in ages.
The leads are exceptional and its lovely to see maxwell-martin again.
Cusack is fantastic as a old witch you either want to hate or feel sorry for.
Cannot reccommend it enough.
It is on a par with bbc's persuasion as my favorite period peice.
