This is an interesting and well told tale regarding the race in 1936 to conquer the ascent of the north face of the Eiger - with the pride of the Fatherland at stake - in the run up to the 1936 German hosted Olympic Games.
The set up was a little slow to get going, but once we got to the mountain I was gripped by the film. Thereafter, I thought the story was really well told.
I don't speak German, so I relied upon the subtitles and had no problem.
