11th January 2005

A British oil rig in the North Sea is held for ransom. A specialist team are sent in to prevent the terrorists carrying out their threats.

Roger Moore is hopelessly miscast in this standard action thriller. It is riven with cliche and stereotypes. the characters are two dimensional at best. Hardly any story complitcations and a predictable plot, full of ludicrous detail and absurdities. The tone is inconsistent. The opportunities to use the weather and the rough sea are barely used. It fell short of the excitement it promised and lacked tension. The sub plot concetrates on FFolk's misogyny, which is hopelessly overplyed by moore.
