This is the worst Jane Austen adaptation I have ever seen. It goes not do her book any credit! The people in it are horrible, Miss Moorland looks like she is in a permanent state of shock with her eyes as wide as she can possibly get them. Mr Tilney seems too old for her and a little strange. The music played in the background half the time doesn't seem to fit the era in which this was supposed to be (early 1800's) and the costumes mistake you into thinking at certain times that it is set in the 1600's the massive overdone 10ft hats for the woman and the huge amount of ruffles on their dresses! It takes a very gothic look at the story and the continuous fantasies shown are extremely annoying at best. I would recommend you watch the ITV's as this seems to stick much more to the book even though it is a little short but it does the characters in this story justice unlike this one!
