Classic style cop movie shot in arty fashion using slow motion and stills as well as some monochrome sequences. It panders to fans of martial arts movies as it is full of chases and fights mostly on foot. It is in industrial setting and follows murder investigation that stretches over two months. Eclectic soundtrack mixes jazz with rock and metal and there are numerous recognizable faces from movies such as Tell Me Something. Violent confrontations are major part of it. If you liked The Chaser of Infernal Affairs you should not be dissapointed. Main ethos is 'I was too dumb for any job so dad told me to become cop'.
