We're all familiar with minders falling for their charges, but this thriller reverses the roles and casts a beautiful woman as the bodyguard. Unfortunately, that's just about the only thing approaching novelty in this humdrum movie, as feisty FBI agent Dina Meyer seeks to get federal witness Peter Dobson to court in one piece, despite the attentions of ruthless Mob hit men Jon Polito and Francesco Quinn. After Dragonheart and Starship Troopers, Meyer attracted considerable media attention and she's sufficiently efficient here to raise questions about why her career seems to have stalled in the slow lane.
