Edith Cavell was a much better movie than we'd expected. Anna Neagle was perfectly cast with her stiff upper lip in the face of adversity and overall it was much more gritty than its preWWII release would lead you to expect. Certainly it didnt have the feel of full blown propaganda that films a few years later demonstrated. Definitely recommended.
