A well put-together documentary

Nusrat's CD Night Song is one of my Top 5 favourite CDs of all time. I rented this DVD so I could see him 'in the flesh' as it were. What you get is a standard one-hour documentary that I really enjoyed watching. There is a longish interview with Nusrat during which he explains how he got started singing; Peter Gabriel and Michael Brookes rave; some concert footage; and other bits and pieces. You'll also find one hour of audio only from a concert in Paris.- Was this review helpful to you?

(2)Good documentary/interview but...

But I also rented it in the expectation of watching him in action in the accompanying concert recording. But this is audio only! So why put an audio-only recording on a DVD publication?
