Oasis - Live By The Sea
Oasis have been criticised by some as being one of the most derivative, unoriginal music acts of the 1990s. In fact, their music is distinctly recognisable, and it is this catchiness which highbrow critics instinctively condemn that has made them one of the most loved bands of the late 20th century. While their irresistible pop songs have propelled them to incredible fame and wealth, it is the high drama of their personal lives which have made Oasis media darlings. Singer Liam Gallagher's arrogant, malevolent attitude and offensive antics are a thorn in the side of older brother (and Oasis mastermind), Noel. This rock star persona that inspires sibling rivalry also makes the band an extremely interesting and unpredictable live act. This can be viewed on LIVE BY THE SEA, an excellent concert film. Performing in 1995 at South England's Southend Cliffs Pavilion, the Gallaghers and their band are in top form, rocking through songs such as Columbia, Some Might Say, Live Forever, Good to Be Free, Supersonic, and the Beatles cover I Am the Walrus. This release also features promo videos for Rock 'N' Roll Star and Cigarettes & Alcohol.

Oasis at their very very best. Classicly edgy behaviour from Liam and fantastic music.
A blast from the past for all Oasis fans - definitely worth ...
