The three disc package collects together three movies featuring the Pacific campaign made in the aftermath of World War II.
BATTLE CRY: Non-stop action characterizes this World War II epic with an all-star cast. The heroic exploits of a Marine battalion are followed from basic training through the bloody invasion of Aaipan.
OBJECTIVE BURMA: A group of paratroopers are dropped into the Burmese jungle to wipe out a Japanese radar station. At first things seem to be going as planned but the team soon find themselves in a jungle full of Japanese soldiers. Stars Hollywood legend Errol Flynn.
OPERATION PACIFIC: World War II serves as the backdrop for this undersea tale, which dramatises the adventures and crises encountered by seamen aboard a naval submarine. At the centre of this story is the continuing love affair between a naval officer (John Wayne) and a nurse (Patricia Neal)--who are divorced from each other.
