Ocean of froth

Probably not a lot of point in criticising this one, but I found it a lukewarm version of "Mission Impossible", with some very annoying macho characters.
Maybe Sinatra and his boozy, misogynistic rat pack companions were the height of cool when the original was made over 50 years ago, but times have (thankfully) changed.
Julia Roberts - referred to at one point as another character's "worldly goods" or some such - cannot alone compensate for the bloke-ish posturing of the over-rated Brad Pitt.
And what's more, it's really boring.

Foreign translations of a foreign language

Worth watching

Also, for some unknown reason, there's a lot of talking with food in their mouths, by the actors and swallowing loudly. Too clever

The cast was perfect, the plot was so detailed perfect, the acting was perfect the location was perfect and every single details was so close to perfection it made me sick. Matt and Brad were hot though so again too perfect :)- Was this review helpful to you?
