After their old chum Reuben Tischkoff (Gould) is double-crossed in a business deal and hospitalized, Danny Ocean (Clooney) reconvenes his charming gang of thieves and heads to Las Vegas to gain revenge on the man who put Ruben at death’s door: shark-like hotelier, Willy Bank (Pacino). Their plan is simple: break the Bank by .. Read more

Though the high tide for Oceans was probably the first encounter , Oceans 12 was perfectly good, and this is no exception.
It is a slick, cool movie peppered with neat characters and another 'rip-off the big boys' plot that has you playing along on the wrong side for perhaps the right reasons.
Long at 2 hours, but definately worth the gamble, recommended.
this franchise just gets worse- how can such a good cast make for such a crap movie
was unsure about this one as i loved oceans 11 but 12 was an utter dissapointment, words cant describe how bad it was. that said i was pleasently surprised by this film! the plot was much more like 11 and there were lots of things to laugh at (affleck in mexico!!!) it was clever like 11 but some bits were a tad unbelievable like the drill.
its a shame 12 had to ruin the trilogy! can we have a box set of just 11 n 13 please!!
I hated the first one, hated the 2nd one and have no idea why I attempted to watch the 3rd. I fell asleep 10 mins in. Thats how good it was...
Poorest of the bunch, easy on the mind to watch but still good to see how they plan their revenge.

But wasn't that a given? Ocean's 11 was a fun, slickly made 'flick' that people young and old can enjoy. Oceans's 12 was a dire mess, not worthy of one star (it was clearly rushed into production with little thought or planning- the actors all felt like they were simply filling contract obligations).
But getting back to the film at hand... Oceans 13. Yes; they're back in Vegas. Julia Roberts isn't here, playing herself. And Michale Corleone himself's been added as the films villian. So why didn't I enjoy this film more?
I guess it just comes down to 'sequel-itis'. And by that I mean this film is like Ocean's 11 but not as good. Not as funny. Not as clever. Not amazingly intresting to watch.
Let's hope that 'contractual obligations' don't pull us back for Ocean's 14.
Everyone keeps saying this is better than 12. Duh??? Can't see how. This was one of the most dreadful films I've seen in a long time. I find it hard to believe it actually got made with the script being as bad as it was. Shows that sometimes Hollywood has no shame and will churn out garbage knowing the star names are enough to pull in audiences. Avoid.
After the rather disappointing Spiderman 3 and At World's End, I was feeling a bit jittery about Ocean's 13.... but I needn't have worried. We love these Boys and seeing them back in Vegas is just fab! It's not as good as Ocean's 11 but it's way way way better than Ocean's 12. Enjoy.
O11 is still the best of the trilogy but as someone else has said, they went back to the beginning and dug out another character driven plot and it works this is so much better then O12.
Really enjoyed this third film - same clever plot which confuses you until the end when it all comes together.
The 'original' 'Oceans Eleven' was a great little crime comedy thriller, it's predecessor though 'Oceans Twelve' was a 24 carat stinker, so bad in fact it is the one and only film I have EVER walked out of in the cinema. So when I heard a year or so that another film in the series was coming out my expectations really weren't that high it must be said.
This time round the gang are out to swindle Al Pacino who plays a ruthless Vegas casino boss Willy Bank when he double crosses their friend Reuben (Elliott Gould). This time though instead of stealing from him they intend to rig it through various means so that the punters in his casino win,win ,win......
The plot zips along at a good pace as they come up with various ways to rig the tables, slots and even give the 'Five Diamonds ' casino reviewer (a kind of Michelin star for casino's) the worst possible hotel/casino experience ever!
The usual cast is back, except this time no Julia Roberts, great, and the addition of Al Pacino, even greater, and a fun performance from Elen Barkin.More good news comes in the fact that Don Cheadles awful cockney accent is very low key, something that was the only low point of the first film.
Cool, fun, flashy and thoroughly entertaining right up to the final frame.
If you have seen the other two Ocean films, this one is better than the second one in my opinion. Even if you have not seen the other two, its a great witty film Watch It!
