    Jackson in talks to play The Octopus

    Samuel L Jackson, whose career was launched by Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, is reportedly in talks to play the evil nemesis in an upcoming adaptation of graphic novel The Spirit. The film is to be directed by comics writer Frank Miller, who previous co-directed Sin City, which starred Bruce Willis, Elijah Wood and Jessica Alba.
