  • Top hangover film

    [Highly rated reviewer]

i was feeling pretty rough one afternoon, so i needed something mindless and light hearted to watch.

this is EXACTLY that. the jokes stupid enough to get, but its not so dumb that its unbearable. (e.g. dude wheres my car).

really good film, when not in the mood for anything intellegent, and really sweet in some places too.

Don't waste your time. A huge disjointed, irrelevant mess of a film which wastes its potential and forgets to include any humour. Vince Vaughan, the man who makes one-trick ponies seem versatile, does his usual, tired schtick and sucks out the remaining shreds of half-hearted enjoyment you may have hoped on for. The premise was weak but you'd forgive that if you had couple of real belly laughs (spoiler - there aren't any), but the whole show limps along like they were making it up scene from scene without any thought to a story arc or character. Will Ferrell - I expected better from you. Wilson, Vaughan - this is just about the level of dross you seem best suited to. Avoid. Watch Kingpin or Superbad again, you'll be better for it.

If you're a fan of Will Ferrell and his kind of comedy, this is another great watch. Definitely recommend this film!

Bad, just very very bad! Love Step Brothers, Anchorman, Stranger than Fiction, Zoolander but THIS film is awful. Brainless, plotless, anti-humour.

  • Life is too short - don't waste it on this.

This is a dreadful film. I have been known to enjoy a bozo film like Wedding Crashers etc. but this really is a pile of... nonsense.

I have no idea how they attracted the cast, apart from maybe they all skipped to the scene with the oiled up topless ladies & thought - why not?

Seriously avoid it, life is too short.
