Really cute & sweet, It really looks like an old classic even though it was filmed in 1988. I'm not a kid anymore but I really enjoyed this.

I really liked this film when I was little, even though its probably not one of Disney's most memorable movies I still think its up there with Disney's classics. I love the songs in this movie, and Disney always manages to bring a tear to my eye! A great family film.

It's not the best Disney has to offer, but its still got the Disney magic, of taking an old classic tale and giving it a little re-gig!

This is probably the only Disney film I didn't watch as a child and I was a little surprised at the ending and the very violent ways of getting rid of the bad guys but then again I look at some of the ones I did watch and the ways the evil people came to their unfortunate demise. The Little Mermaid (Stabbed in the stomach by a boat) Beauty and the Beast (fell from a top of the tower) Hunchback of Notre Dame (Also fell from the top of the tower) Mulan (blown up by fireworks) and the classic Snow White (chased by the dwarves off the top of a cliff) and the list goes on and on, so I shouldn't really have been surprised when a dog gets electrocuted and his owner hit by a train!!

But even with the dramatic end, the songs are great, characters somewhat funny, and I think it's great fun for.. yes thats right... the whole family!!!
