hugely disapointed complete rip off of the phantom of the opera from the Set.. to the chandelier. even the end song dastaan complete rip from phantom from teh outfits to the masques the moves,as a phantom fan was gutted a crap movie SRK very disapointing however on a brighter note Deepika was goos as shantipriya and sandi. dont waste a rental on this..not worth it.

I don't normally write reviews but decided that I had to for this one, simply because I was surprised at how good it was! I'm not a huge Bollywood fan and so I'm not sure why I chose to view this, but having done so, I'm glad I did.
At the beginning of the film I found it quite cheesy, and wasn't really paying attention. But it soon grabbed me. What a revelation!!! A film which manages to be smart, hilarious, and poignant, whilst continually poking fun at itself. I was very impressed by subtle 'Phantom of the Opera'-esque styling. The acting was superb, the sets were amazing and even the constant singing and dancing was bearable! And if that doesn't tempt you to watch it, you should check it out just to see the who's who of Mumbai (past and present) turn out en masse in hilarious cameos. Thoroughly entertaining!
