Families formed the Omagh Support Group to press the police in their inquiries. The film focuses on the Gallagher family, who lose their son Aiden. His father, Michael, a mechanic, becomes chair of the support group. The press for answers strains his relationship with his wife. High-ranking police speak in bromides. Shadowy figures offer intelligence that calls into question the integrity before and after the bombing of the Royal Ulster Constabulary and its Special Branch. Will the murders remain unsolved?

This film does not have a mainstream feel about it... and neither should it have. Its a gritty portrayal of the events in Omagh. I found it to be neutral in exposing both sides - it doesnt gloryfy the real ira nor does it glorify the british. This film is very interesting, I learn quite a bit from it. If your after a blockbuster - dont rent it. If you want to be educated in an informal way - watch it, but its not always easy viewing.
Definately one to watch if you want to get some appreciation of what it is like to be a victim in a society like this was, and to a set of murders of this magnitude. I expected there to be a political agenda - but on the whole this is a balanced, intelligent and very thoughtfully made film which gets to the core of the issues involved.
