Its a biker classicBy a customer from uk , 20 Jun 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]Its a documentary, but its still good! :)
I got this out because its always mentioned as a film that explains racers, and it does that very well. It was made in 1971, and the bikes are old, but the spirit is still very much today.
All the american types of bike racing are covered. You don't need to know anything about bikes to get into this as it is presented to a novice audience. However, it doesn't patronise, which is why its a classic. Well worth watching on a cold winter night!

Rather datedBy a customer , 16 Feb 2013If you are a keen biker/steve mcqueen fan you will enjoy this film. Quite enjoyed the first DVD but the following two were so similar they were became boring.

TimelessBy a customer from Pontyclun , 10 Feb 2009I you like bikes, you'll like this movie. If not, move on.
On Any Sunday tells the story of US bike sport in the early seventies, and if anything the era adds to its charm. The bike action is great and the love the film maker has for bikes, and more importantly the men that ride them, shines through.
The fact that Steve McQueen is in the movie (he financed it) is the cherry on the top.
Even fo a biker a disappointmentBy a customer from Derbyshire , 28 Jan 2007Useful for a wet weekend, but no real excitment.
