I first saw this film at a work's do and being an avid biker loed it immeditely. Then one day whilst out at a big shoe warekouse I saw a vodeo of it and sneaked it under some kid's trainers. I've wtached it about 10 times and will keep getting it out every now and then.

It covers just about every form of motorcycle racing that has been invented and has bits with Steve McQueen in for the lady in your life to ogle at while you concentrate on cam shafts and pistons.

At the moment I can't remember the geeky guys name but he is a star and can do anything on a bike.

The big 'Greasers' doing the hillclimb are great to watch as well.

Yes, it's dated but it's all real not CGI and the pain of failure is tangible.

About the reviewer: Stinger

I am an old-timer and a traditionalist but I can be persuaded to up-date my ideas if it is worth it. I like horror/thriller/action movies but hate the films that rely solely on stuff like CGI as they usually detract from the value of the film. I long to see the tough guy actors make a comeback as I just cannot see Leonardo DiCaprio as a toughie, he is like a teenager with a stuck on moustache.
