Not bad at all ...
By Craig Adams from Dundee, Scotland , 06 Oct 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
I rented this and season 1 just because it had a lot of actors I like in it, I thought it was worth a try and I was not disappointed.
Dennis Waterman, best known for playing Terry in Minder, is in a role much different to what he usually plays. This time he plays a ordinary bloke that has built up a good business that has earned him loads of money, but he still can't forget his roots.
Also in this comedy, Joan Sims plays the brilliantly scripted role of Mrs.Wembley, the cook who likes to have 'Just the one' drink every now and again.
But the true star of the show has to be Sam Kelly who plays the chauffeur and general dogsbody, his comedy acting talent is excellent and it truly shows in this comedy series.
It's a comedy series that not many people remember, but its definitely worth a watch- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer from salisbury , 12 Jan 2006It's a shame BBC stopped making this program. I have not laughed so much in ages. Well worth watching- Was this review helpful to you?
