Texas Ranger Richard Widmark and ageing outlaw Willie Nelson discover that youngster Shaun Cassidy is about to disrupt their unlawful business by intercepting some ill-gotten loot in this entertaining TV movie. In addition to the stellar leads, veteran writer/producer/director Burt Kennedy has assembled a fine supporting cast of western stalwarts, including Angie Dickinson, Stuart Whitman, Jack Elam, Royal Dano and Chuck Connors. The lighthearted tone might offend western purists, but others will probably enjoy this rollicking entertainment.

There's nothing like an old-fashioned western

And this is not much like the 'old-fashioned'westerns that I remember unfortunately.
