One of Jet Li's most famous screen personas, Wong Fei Hung returns and this time in the wild wild west! For die hard fans of martial arts and those who have seen the Once Upon a Time in China series this is umissable! For regular fight fans, you might enjoy the fight scenes, but like all movies of this kind the dubbing is horrendous & the subtitles non existent. Would not recommend this to anyone other than fans of Wong Fei Hung movies!
This high class Hong Kong actioner helmeed by the great Sammo Hung sees Jet Li return to the role of Wong Fei Hung after leaving the Once Upon A Time series for a few films. This one has Wong and his loyal friends moving to the old West and fighting with both the Indians and the settlers. Wong suffers temporary amnesia and so does not recognise his friends....
This is a good addition to the long running series of films, and I have more than a sneaking suspicion that the producers of Jackie Chan's Shanghai Noon had seen this film more than once also. Some great set pieces with Jet Li providing some fine Kung Fu action. Not in the same league as the first few films in the series, but in fear of repeating myself, it is nice to have Jet back.
