    [Highly rated reviewer]

I thought it was excellent. The writer, Paul Smith, explained that he wanted to show how most of us form completely the wrong impression about other people and I think he did a very good job. Like in a well-written novel, we were taken into the lives of the characters and encouraged to form judgements about them and their actions only to find that, as in real life, the truth was much more complicated than we had imagined.

Don't miss this, I was unsure as hadn't heard anything about it but you won't be disappointed. Although it could of been made a bit shorter by not repeating the same bits but if you was watching this on tv on a weekly basis (as I imagine it originally was) Then it's only a good thing to be reminded of what'd happened previously. Saying this it wouldn't stop me from recommending it

  • Just amazing

The most amazing TV drama I have ever seen (no exaggeration) The whole premise about how we make snap judgements about the people around us simply by the clothes they wear, their accents or in this case where they live and their ethnicity made for incredibly compelling and very touching viewing. The story's twists and turns were brilliantly written and had me hooked from the off. Highly recommended (kleenex required)

This was superb with each of the 4 episodes being more interesting and thought provoking than the previous one. A lesson in how things aren't always what they seem and how being in the wrong place at the wrong time can set off a chain of events that ends in tragedy.

I was shattered by the end of the final episode - very upset, very angry at how such an outcome can have happened. I think what upset me most was that is was so believable. Superb acting and direction throughout and the acting skills of young Billy Matthews make him one to watch. Echoes of Thomas Turgoose inThis is England here.

Excellent four-parter and a brllliant script - tense at times but also some funny moments. Loved Carol's stand-up routine and the final ep is very memorable.
