A brilliant film, well directed and well acted, it was definitely a welcome surprise when it arrived through my letterbox after one of my friends had recommended it.
This film has a fantastically compelling storyline, when a tragic 'accident' occurs to a group of French teenagers, one of them decides to investigate and the whole film unfolds into a gritty story of corruption, greed and lust.
Although it is subtitled, nothing is lost in the translation, and the only thing that lets this film down is the title, which makes it sound more like a porno than anything even close to what it really is.
Just a small warning, most of the cast are naked at some point or another, but the film is surprisingly free of smut. The only thing is that a subtitled film can sometimes distract from the plot, and in this film, you definitely need to pay attention.
Sorry, but this is soooooooooooo boring we went to bed to read a book halfway through! Bad characterisation - you just don't feel anything for any of the actors. Like in many French films, actually, I just can't identify with them in any way.
And if you're expecting sex - forget it!! It's as though its made for before the watershed. Nothing ever really happens or you get fleeting shots of everything. I don't know what this film is trying to be - but it's not!
You have been warned!
