The usual run-of-the-mill romantic comedy from Katherine Heigl that is subject to its own mediocrity.

Ok but not impressive for Stephanie Plum fansBy a customer , 12 Jun 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]Being a huge fan of the books I guess my expectations were going to be high so I didnt expect it to be as good but was still very dissapointed. When reading the books this movie is based on I literally laughed out loud alot which is unusal for me as I am not a big reader, so expected this to be alot funnier. I am guessing the choice of using Katherine Hiegl didnt help, she just brings along her usual self to the film with a very bad accent!

ONE WORD- AVERAGEBy HaveMySay (133 reviews) , 26 Aug 2012I've seen lots of Katherine Heigl films- '27 Dresses', 'The Ugly Truth', 'Knocked Up' to name a few and this film 'One For The Money' is pretty much similar to the ones i've named. They're all Rom-Coms!
If you want to see the best of Katherine Heigl and her acting abilities, watch 'Grey's Anatomy' as the films above do not do her justice.
If you're a Katherine Heigl fan, this film probably won't disappoint you. If it's your first Heigl film, it's not bad but it's not great either; just the run of the mill Rom-Com really.
Very average Heigl movieBy mattyp91 (236 reviews) from Thatcham , 24 Aug 2012Really average Katherine Heigl movie - she's much better at playing it safe in classic rom-com land 27 Dresses, Knocked Up etc. She looked dowdy with brown hair and dodgy accent alert...
Not the best
Disappointing, one of Katherine Hiegel's worst filmsBy mooviechic (150 reviews) from Durham , 06 Aug 2012Very disappointing film, one of Katherine Hiegels worst. I couldn't get away with it and went off to do something else but husband and step daughter carried on and they said it was ok but wouldn't watch it again.
I now have to read at least one of the books!!By a customer , 01 Aug 2012I have not read the books, didnt even know there were book, and yet half way through I was hoping there would be a sequel.
Why? I just enjoyed the film, it was exactly what it claimed to be. I thought the voice over was a nice touch, not original I know.
If you dont expect anything deep and meaningful and just want something a little fun, but not too sugary, then watch it.
I liked this movieBy a customer , 29 Jul 2012I liked this movie. I loved the books and I think the movie was a good reflection of the books. The casting was spot on, especially Ranger and Lula. I hope they make more movies of the books, I would watch them.
