this is by far the funniest movie i have seen in a long time. set around the story of leni, bringing her palestinian fiance to meet her jewish family - it looks at whether love can truly transcend age-old cultural boundaries, and more importantly, survive being married to a very dysfunctional family. The pace rarely slackens with joke after the joke, this film is teeming with one liners, comic subplots, visual humour and twists and turns in every direction so that within the first 20 minutes it seems that rafi has inadvertently killed his future father-in-law with a block of frozen soup... [this is only the beginning!] full of wonderful characters and sharp acting from the entire cast this comedy of errors is a must see (and more than once)! life never shapes out entirely as we plan and we tend to make all too many mistakes but after all... we're only human

Very amusing film, hilarious even at times. I don't usually care for farce, but, this is really worth a watch.

refreshing comedy and each plot keeps you laughing, particularly jovial is the way in which the middle east conflict subtly portrayed!

Brilliant comedy, loved it & laughed througout.

The trailer portrays it as a slapdash run of the mill comedy, when in fact its' quirky, funny with a great story line.

    Higly recommend, loved it!

This film is funnier than I thought. From the trailer it looks silly and slapstick but it's a good film that had me lol'ing in stitches. The pace dragged towards the end however, but was still enjoyable. Definitely recommend it if you want to watch something lighthearted, entertaining, and with an underlying message.

One of the funniest films I've seen in ages. I agree with the Woody Allen comparisons and also reminds me a bit of Almodovar's Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown - ie. They're all completely bonkers! Very Entertaining.
