Great classic comedy from Ronnie Barker and David Jason (Just starting out in comedy on the BBC)
Ronnie Barkers comedy will never be forgotten thanks to series DVD's like these.
P-P-P-P-Perfect as Arkwright would say!
This is the last series of open all hours shown for the first time in 1985 about mr arkwright and his grocery store and his poor suffering young nephew granville. I was brought up as a child watching this series and both myself and my wife still watch it now and think that it is brilliant.
Not only are the stories funny and amusing but it does give you a small insight into how life used to be and not all that long ago(check out how many cars are on the streets compared to today)
Its safe to say that both ronnie barker and david jason are comic legends and really make the whole series work.
The four series of open all hours are timeless classics and can still be shown today as excellent pieces of comedy and are well worth watching again and again
