Some good 3d effects, not a bad film
By stephenfox85 (1 review) , 03 Nov 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
A good movie, excellent animation, some great 3d effects. I'm 26, and found some parts to be funny, although this is more tailored to the kids. A generally good story, that will entertain adults and kids alike. Going back to the animation quality, it's top notch, hand drawn backgrounds give an art appeal to it, and with the 3d effects, some things do pop out of the screen, but it is more a film with 3d depth, than pop out effects, although it looks great in 3d either way.
Has 2d version on the disc also, so as long as you have a bluray player, you will be able to watch this. The extras consist of a music video, small featurettes, and also a trailer for cloudy with a chance of meatballs in 3d.- Was this review helpful to you?

(7)Good family entertainment
By Chrisaljack (308 reviews) from Hellingly , 22 May 2013This one is really aimed squarely at the younger generation with strongly defined 'goodies' and 'baddies' and a clear message about wild animals belonging in the wild. Still, it makes a pleasant way to pass the time for the adults in the family so a good family movie.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good 3D movie and a few bluray bonus features.
By Kasam (2 reviews) , 20 Dec 20113D effect is a lot better than some other 3D films I have seen thus far. Both 2D and 3D films are on the one disk as well. Also there are quite a few blu-ray extras/bonus features to go through once you have seen the film.- Was this review helpful to you?

bad shrek
By a customer , 21 Nov 20113D was ok but the film was rubbish it seemed to much like shrek but no where near as good. It had the same sort of characters and not far off from being the same sort of story too. I didnt think it was very funny and also thought the animation was quite poor. Even my young brother was bored throughout and he only kept with it because of the 3D. Overall not impressed but some good 3D effects best one being the home menu !- Was this review helpful to you?
