ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
By a customer from Bilston , 05 Jan 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
If there was an option for no stars this would get it.
As long as there are idiots like me who rent this crap i suppose people will be allowed to make these films.
It appeared to be a very poor documentry style film based very loosely on fact. At no point in this film did i feel these people were in any danger apart from getting hit by the camera, they couldn't even come up with an ending at all let alone one that would have made any sense of it all.
Do yourself a favour and give this a miss....- Was this review helpful to you?

(949)Open Water!!! This really happened!!!!!!!
By Em1981 (133 reviews) from London , 12 Jan 2013I really like this film not only is it a true story but it freaks me out!!! Sharks freak me out and thats why i like this film soo much. It is unbelievable that this really happened in real life. i think this film is a good representation of the actual events. It starts like a normal day in the life of the couple and has a slightly documentry fly on wall feel to it. It's amazing that the small actions of one person led to the couples underwater fate. Sad but extremely interesting! good film it really creates the feeling of time that the couple were adrift in deep water this for me adds to the suspense.- Was this review helpful to you?

Give it a go.....similar type of film to "Frozen"
By MarkSparks (3 reviews) from Earls Colne , 12 May 2012The negative comments are unfair! OK it lacks dazzling special effects but its an engaging story line with a twist that it really could happen. I enjoyed it.... similar type of film to Frozen....so use this to guage yes or no.- Was this review helpful to you?
