Forgive the comparison with Vanilla Sky but I found it much easier to accept the Cesar character in this telling of the story. His self assurance prior to the accident and his subsequent self loathing, were made more believable without the baggage contained in a star like Cruise. Cesar is a selfish b*****d but his downfall seems harsher because we believe in him. I thought Vanailla Sky was a good movie, but films of this quality really do show Hollywood up to be shallow and superficial. Highly recommended.
