Great game

I loved this game it is great a lot better than dragon rising was. The game actualy makes you think about what you are doing as opposed to something like call of duty where in single player you can just run and spray.
The game is quite difficult and a bit frustrating at points but I would rather playing something that challenges me than another boring generic shooter which there are so many of now a days.
The game also has nice graphics better than a lot of games around at the moment the only problem is that your squad mate AI are not always the most inteligent and make silly mistakes sometimes but all round the game is a good challenge and I throughly enjoyed and will probably buy it- Was this review helpful to you?

By E13K (2 reviews) , 07 Sep 2012Poor game - do not buy or rent - single player game play is extremely bland, offering nothing like the experience the title promises. On line game play is even worse! Steer clear.
The game is extremely stop start, where missions involving fire exchange between you and insurgents are extremely bland, with tactical game play NON EXISTENT. You will find it hard to use cover and to shoot from behind cover, and without this, well, your character will eventually be KIA. No dragon rising
By SavageWoIf (3 reviews) , 28 Jul 2012I absolutely loved Dragon rising, and so i bought Red River on the day of it's release.. i then traded it in as soon as i finished it.
I will say however, there were a few decent levels. Half of the game your sitting in the back of a truck listening to some guys talk crap over and over (there's decent music on the radio though).
Everyone has different tastes but i would highly recommend renting out Dragon Rising instead.- Was this review helpful to you?
