exceptional film

A great night in with this epic movie. Wonderful Kenyan landscapes and excellent performances from all the characters. Strong storyline, based on fact, safe for family viewing! Lovely costumes. The photography is stunning and the film has great acting provided by Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. It was a little boring at times but worth watching.- Was this review helpful to you?

Breathtaking scenery but film a little slow
By a customer , 12 Jan 2013Fantastic acting and authentic accent from Meryl Streep, accompanied with breathtaking scenery (worth getting the Blu Ray version if you have the technology). An Epic Tale - Truly Atmospheric

A very powerful film focusing on a strong woman who selflessly tried to help others while through the film suffering heartbreak and setback , all with the beauty of Africa a colourful vast beautiful backdrop. Not a film for people who like fast paced or action but if you like a strong story and a historical look at very early 20th century Africa , you could do a lot worse than rent this movie ......- Was this review helpful to you?
