Sexually charged perfomances from Clooney and Lopez
By LD from Herts , 27 Feb 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
She's the good guy (bounty hunter), he's the bad guy (armed robber), and their lives collide when she accidentaly becomes embroiled in his escape from prison.
The sexual chemisty between them just sizzles and they both play strong, independant characters, whose heads tells them to 'leave-alone', but their hearts scream otherwise.
It's not the greatest movie on earth, however if you want to watch a funny, flirty film with a decent and sometimes dark sub-plot then give this one a try.
It's by far the best that Lopez has done, it's a pity she hasn't chosen such a decent script since this one, because it shows what she is capable of.- Was this review helpful to you?

(59)Action comedy romance
By Keirmh (1 review) , 14 Apr 2013This is a gripping and satisfying film, full of twists and turns, false signposts, and yet a sense of inevitability about the outcome. You expect George Clooney to be excellent, but, surprisingly, Jennifer Lopez is equally impressive. The chemistry between the 2 stars is tangible, and this is a very sexy film. Nothing is explicit or obvious but watching these 2 shut in a car boot together or even talking over a coffee, is fairly heady stuff. Excellent support performances as well so the time flies by watching this which is all you can ask really.- Was this review helpful to you?

Out of tune
By Bobsview (549 reviews) from Gloucestershire , 26 Feb 2013George Clooney-rather implausible yarn about bank robber who forms relationship with his FBI pursuer. Weak Rom Com .Predictable. I have to declare that i am not a Jennifer Lopez fan- Was this review helpful to you?

A Classic
By GeorgeGlass (42 reviews) from Brighton , 03 Feb 2013Hadn't seen this in ages but it really stands up considering it's now 15 years old. Still cool, still stylish and it looks great in Blu Ray too- Was this review helpful to you?

Tries Quite Hard
By Cato (703 reviews) from Lydbury North , 14 Jan 2013Seemed like a star vehicle for the two leads, who actually looked like they were badly cast for the story, which was highly implausible anyway. Didn't quite hit the spot I'm afraid. I've seen better films of this nature, but they were usually older.- Was this review helpful to you?

Big mistake
By SilverSufferer (1 review) , 05 Sep 2012Big mistake; I thought that the combination of actors and director would guarantee a good film; it didn't.
Romantic, silly comedy is not my scend. I should have read the reviews first; I will know better next time.
The Blue Ray image was excellent, so that is why I gave it half a star rating.- Was this review helpful to you?
