The film disappoints, you would expect a feature about the atomic bomb of August
1945 to have a more visual impact considering the devastation it created, simply
because it concentrates on a small area and group of people picking up their lives after
the event. It is a tale of these people rather than an epic and the visual effects are quite
sombre and the story line a little bit thin that does not quite hit the mark. I can quite
seehow it did hit the emmy awards as the film itself is well camered and well directed.
A film to watch if you feel that the atomic bomb had not been sufficiently shown in
your lifetime and the possible after effects.
