    Not so much a series, more historical documentation.

    I watched this series as a child and was fascinated to learn about about how tradititional countryside pursuits and activities that were once so commonplace were fast disappearing.

    Watching this series again, some twenty years later, the irony of Hargreaves statement 'these old films may be one of the last records of you things used to be done'is accurate

    This series now has a historical value.Still fascinating.
