Drama about a young drifter who is forced to stay the winter in a small seaside town and inadvertently becomes the catalyst for deceit, double crossings and murder amongst the locals. Pierre Walker (Jordan Frieda) was getting ready to leave his small town after a summer of working at the fun park. His plans were disrupted when he meets Kelly (Dominique Swain), who steals his money and introduces him to Simeon (David Murray), the double crossing town 'handyman' who eventually offers Pierre the job of a lookout man during various burglaries. During one attempt, Pierre gets caught by Harry (Dennis Hopper) who takes him under his wing and offers to show him the real art of burglary.

Dont bother

This film starting off slow, stayed slow and stopped in the middle when we turned off the DVD player.

Completely unwatchable.

Abosloutly no idea what was going on. Didnt care about the characters. Who knows why this got on my list in the first place.

This rating is for the plot and storyline

Admittedly, I didn't expect much from this movie especially looking at the cast but truthfully they all surpassed my expectations with their acting. Dennis Hopper was probably the best I've seen him and although the accents of certain cast members are offputting, if you can focus on the story and take it all in, truly a very good movie.
