Yet again, we are robbed of a conclusion
By RattusTurpis (18 reviews) from Birmingham , 29 Jul 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
Along comes one of the best and most engaging British SF shows in ages and what do the BBC do ? Decide to cancel it. So now we are left hanging, as we have been with so many other shows that we love (Defying Gravity and the Sarah Connor Chronicles spring to mind) that we have really invested in and now we won't see concluded. If networks can't see a TV project through and give the fans and viewers what they want, why bother in the first place ? I recommend Outcasts highly and I am sorry that like me you won't get to know what happens to all the characters that you will undoubtedly become attached to.- Was this review helpful to you?

(9)Come on BBC
By a customer , 13 Mar 2013When are the BBC going to have the courage to actually embrace Sci-Fi? The money saved on this will no doubt go on, (yep you've guessed it), yet another boring costume drama!- Was this review helpful to you?

Absolute rubbish which insults our intelligence.
By a customer , 04 Mar 2013Absolute rubbish which insults our intelligence. Can't even be bothered to watch disc 2. Well done BBC for not wasting any more of our money on it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good, but leaves you wanting more
By dieharder (3 reviews) , 11 Feb 2013I enjoyed this series. As it went on, the story got better and better and the plot started to come together. It was all set up nicely for another series with unanswered questions which annoyingly will never be answered. Outcasts is worth a watch, as long as you don't mind it being left up in the air at the end of the serires.- Was this review helpful to you?

Out with the cast!
By LimeyWop (33 reviews) from Retford , 19 Nov 2011I'm glad the BBC pulled it. One less stupid pseudo-scifi series on which to waste our license fee.
Badly directed, silly soapy plot. The technical errors are too numerous to mention. And I've only managed to watch the first ten minutes!
But I can't resist giving you an idea of how bad it is, so you can safely avoid it: bloke settles on a new planet - a real, new planet around another star - and what does he think of? Of course, breeding cloned pigs to satisfy his hunger for bacon! And he can't resist parading a farting piglet in front of a reception desk (which obviously a new colony can't do without.) And so it goes... I think the pig farted as a comment on the acting skills being displayed by the humans.- Was this review helpful to you?
