I should have bought a copy instead.
I'm reminded of Alien, not because there are any monsters in this film, but because it's sci-fi with an industrial feel. Unlike Star Trek you can believe that people are actually working here. And it's tough, dirty, unpleasant work. The competition is cut-throat and corruption is normal. Full of believable details of the lives of the workers, the officers, and the police who are paid to look the other way... until a new sheriff comes to town!
