Highlander vs PredatorBy ExiledKiwi (2 reviews) from Bedford , 08 Feb 2009
[Highly rated reviewer]I started with very low expectations of this movie and it does start out as a action movie by numbers, but once you get beyond the fact that all the Vikings speak with Irish accents it is a decent movie. The characters are pretty one dimensional but then again I wasn't expecting Shakespeare. The action scenes are top notch and the movie moves along at a cracking pace. The director has been influenced by Predator and Highlander which can only be a good thing.

Not for meBy AceWag (9 reviews) , 15 Nov 2013Not really my cup of tea, only rented it because it had Jim Caviezel in it. Couldn't watch it all the way through
Aliens v VikingsBy Rokerlad (4 reviews) , 06 Nov 2013A great concept, disappointingly done. Too much dark lighting, too many gaps in the story. Acting was good, especially John Hurt. Calziel was a bit wooden.
One to avoidBy Kelly76 (102 reviews) from Crowthorne , 17 Jun 2013If you like movies and enjoy a good storyline then avoid this one at all costs.... dull, predictable, poor acting, low quality CGI and just a rubbish film. I can't even bring myself to write anything more about it... very dull indeed.
Conan meets Space monster. Good, enjoyable action.By IrmscherMatt (29 reviews) , 09 May 2013I really enjoyed this! The beginning starts with some promise although in the end it was a sort of 'Conan the Barbarian Vs Predator' type thing. Lots of 'serious' actors too which attempts to lend credibility (it does) to an otherwise ordinary film It was also slightly disconcerting to see the lead (James Caviezel) in Viking garb........I kept on waiting for his bespectacled partner to poke his head out from behind a Tree or Rock and say, 'you'll have to leave that monster, a new number has just arrived........' An enjoyable, well made action film that is great for just enjoying for what it is I'll recommend this for no nonsense easy to enjoy action
glad i didn't pay a dollar for thisBy a customer , 30 Mar 2013a really silly yarn with reasonable special effects and nice scenery but jim caviezel - yes handsome but oh so wooden and expressionless
