An excellent bit of romantic comedy nonesense that surely can't fail to entertain. Fresh from a great support role in the hilarious Knocked Up, Paul Rudd (Henry's) all too perfectionist soon to be wife is killed in a freak accident, she retains her neurotic behaviour into the afterlife and is not too pleased when Henry inadvertently finds a new love interest. Are her beyond the grave antics set to destroy any chance of her gaining her halo. This is well worth a watch to find out.
this is a little thin on the laughs at times, thought there'd be more comedy than there was to be honest. the longer you watch it, the more apparent it becomes that it's no different from any of the others you've seen before. it starts off well then lets itself down somewhat. does seem to be a bit of a trend these days with this sort of thing.
I have a feeling that this might be the year that Paul Rudd steps into the limelight. He’s already well known in the US, at least in certain circles, but he hasn’t had many leading roles yet (the last one was the dire Over Her Dead Body); he’s more often cast in supporting roles, notably in many Judd Apatow movies.
