John Malkovich has signed up to join the cast of Disney's version of Douglas Adams's sci-fi novel The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The Hollywood star will play a cult leader alongside Sam Rockwell and The Office's Martin Freeman as Arthur Dent. It was only a matter of time before Elwyn Brooks White's early reading favourite was hauled out for a computer generated / live action makeover.
