I found this game good, but I just couldn't get the time to play it. I sent it back. I didn't send it back because its boring, lately I only get to play games later at night so I want a game that will be relaxing to play. In game quests was about strategy, sometimes I got lost so I would have to start my PC up to find a strategy guide on line to tell me what to do next. To be honest I wasn't expecting it to be quite so hard, hence why this was a factor in me sending it back. Plus its a massive game, I'm guessing well over 50 plus hours. There would have been no way I would have had the time on a rental. So I sent it back. When I can be bothered I may pick it up on a cheap and try again. Otherwise its a good game with a well crafted RTS system. Nice graphics and loads of hours to be had.

This game is not great at all, the graphics are awful, the gameplay is not around 30FPS it more like 20FPS, you can go around and where you look in the sky its smooth but when your in the city/town/village its just to laggy, for my liking compared to the first one not much difference same kind of thing you cause mayhem.

    *SPOILER*

When you capture the town, the very first town you are in, you have to either kill or enslave over 100 villagers, and that is alot i got board after 25 you knock down the doors and then you get your minions to capture them then you use your magic to enslave them, its very very boring and even killing them is very boring.

A brilliant concept for a game with some amazing humour throughout. It almost works aswell asides from some poor programming and lack of testing which can result in incomplete missions etc. The controls almost _very_ work but often tend to let you down at the worst possible times; example being the last boss where (if you've grasped the feel of the tactical side of the game ) you're required to set up 3/4 markers, you often try to lock on the boss and end up inadvertently moving your marker- VERY frustrating. Don't want to seem too negative it's definitely worth a rent, the narrative definitely being the driving force for a decent game...

Personally speaking this wasn't any improvement on the original, except for being able to club baby seals to death of course!
