wonderfully photographed and blissfully atmospheric this is special! - and has that magic that a select few can capture from this genre of Australian film-making; nurtured by Reeve's warmth and affection for her characters the film holds a softly spoken grace in the way it moves, as it pastes together locations and characters into a ponderous blend of drama, devoid of high-brow pretension. wonderous and moving - watch it!- Was this review helpful to you?

Give it a chance and you might be surprised .

Yes it dawdled along at its own sweet pace but that became the thing I fopund pleasing about it. You have to let it lead you and go with it. Not all movies are packed with action and this certainly isn't one.
