Excellant!!

This is the best season of Oz. It has lots of shocks and twists and a very emotional episode that had me in tears.

The long last eposide has a bit of a weird ending, but it ties up all lose ends, and has some charaters with their breakthroughs on their lives!

not as good as previous seasons

Dont get me wrong, i love OZ and id say the first 3-4 seasons were great. however, we found it got quite samey towards the end and so many things were just so far fetched that it started to get a bit ridiculous in places.

Loved it

Usual OZ just keeps getting better. The dialouge is amazing.

Oz Writers Deserve Prison

I have now waded through all six seasons of Oz out of sheer bloodymindedness and thank God it's over. Not because I was especially disturbed or upset, just because by the end it is absolutely dreadful. There's way too much religious propaganda, it's achingly pretentious and the plotlines defy belief, its almost like the scripts are written by some over excited 14 year old boys and then edited by a priest. The nadir as far as plot goes has to be the story about taking pills to accelerate aging and therefore reduce a prison sentence. The 14 year olds must have been proud of that one. If anything's upsetting about Oz it's watching quality actors struggling with utterly proposterous situations and dialogue. One of the few interesting things is how many of these actors later turn up in The Wire, a program whose boots Oz is not worthy to even sniff. My advice to anyone who hasn't seen it yet is to watch until Adebisi dies and then forget all about it. I'm awarding it one star for Adebisi.
