Excellent
Having read many of PD James' novels, I was very impressed by Martin Shaw's portrayal of the intelligent and acclaimed detective, Adam Dalgliesh. 'Death in Holy Orders' involves his return to St Anselms, the theological college where he spent much time in his youth. However during this visit, it becomes the scene for murder as there appears to be a serial killer on the loose. This is a really good whodunnit which keeps the viewer guessing to the end!
I was also pleased by the fact that this drama which was screened as a two-part series on BBC television; was contained on one disc so there was no need to wait for the conclusion. -

good viewing
i watched this on television and it was good to see the difference between martin shaw and the previous actor (roy marsden) who played dalgleish
