This is a good chick flick, if you will pardon the possibly derogatory term. What I mean by that: if you were looking for a girls' night out at the pictures, just you and your mates, maybe your mum or your sisters, P.S I Love You has all the requisite ingredients. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll bond. You'll cry some more. All this, and Gerard Butler too! If that is what you're after, by all means rate the movie a ten and add it to your rental queue. New York handy-cam monster mash Cloverfield rampaged to the top of the UK box office chart this week, according to official figures from Nielsen. The latest Tim Burton creation, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, has topped the UK box office in its first week of release. According to AC Nielsen data, the macabre story of a murderous hairdresser played by Johnny Depp took over £4.5 million upon its debut on the big screen. Million Dollar Baby star Hilary Swank is set to swap her boxing gloves for pilot's goggles as she takes on the role of Amelia Earhart in a new biopic, according to industry newspaper Variety. Swank, whose also appears in current hit PS I Love You and school drama Freedom Writers, will play Earhart in the early years of her career, the paper reports.
