Very DisappointedBy a customer , 02 Mar 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]I agree this film is a let down i actually questioned if i had played the right film as hardly any of the clips from the trailer were in the film infact the trailer is more entartaining than the film.
It did have moments that were jumpy but just found for most of the movie as with the other two you seem to spend more time waiting for something to happen.

Good movie.By Lyndz91 (7 reviews) , 29 Aug 2013I thought this was a good movie, I love my horrors but this wasn't a best one, I found it more funny than scary to be honest but it was still a good movie.
GREAT 8.5/10By GARGRX (31 reviews) , 30 Jun 2013+ MORE SCARY THAN THE FIRST TWO MOVIES + MOST OF THE MOVIE IS FAST PACE SCARES WHICH DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE CHANCE TO THINK ABOUT IF ITS REAL OR NOT - NOT AS REALISTIC AS THE FIRST TWO MOVIES THIS PREQUEL IS IN MANY WAYS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL APART FROM IT IS LESS REALISTIC
I don't agree with the bad reviewsBy Mum-of-4 (6 reviews) , 20 Jun 2013Some bad reviews for this, but I actually found it really good! I jumped and was on the edge of my seat more with this than with the last film. It really gave me goosebumps!
I really Don't no what to say about it!???By Anzenblue2 (3 reviews) , 14 Feb 2013Undecided what as to write about this film really! It was Good as in that it made me jump and was a little more sinister than the other 2 Paranormal Activity films but I found it to be quite repetitive. Especially showing the same camera in a certain place quite a lot more than in the rest of the house...was really annoying at times. Watch it if you liked the other 2 fims... stay away if you've never seen one.
Palpable evilBy monkey_magic (21 reviews) , 14 Feb 2013I mean the film was evil, not the subject matter. The first PA I thought was quite good and the approach was original. PA2 borrowed heavily from PA but was still watchable. This effort was quite simply an embarrassment. There was nothing new, no originality, and no thought had gone into the plot (to put it mildly). The jumps were obvious a mile out and the action scenes were just rehashes of those in PA and PA2. All this was topped off by the most ridiculous finale I've seen for many years. I did have PA4 on my rental list and I've just removed it.
