Really enjoyed this even though it made me feel a little sad at the end. Full of fantastic acting and scenes of great beauty.
The protagonist reminded me of many of the older generation who hold onto their morals with a much tighter grip than people these days.
The anti-drugs message is clear but it doesn't take anything away from the power the film holds and isn't overtly throwing it in your face. I think we all know that certain things need to be kept at arms length. The only critique I would have is that cannabis seems to be demonized as some kind of gateway drug which is a complete untruth.

Slight But Nice

Park yourself in front of this

A gentle, human story without the usual cliched big studio trappings. Colm Meaney is especially excellent and is surrounded by convincing fellow-actors.
