Really enjoyed this film. Different and not predictable, quite arty, much better than some of the american churned out rubbish.

Welsh film set in Argentina and Wales about 2 separate interwoven romantic and sad stories of a young and old woman travelling to and from Patagonia. Its in Welsh and Spanish with sub titles but worth watching and sensitively handled.

The sense of place was excellent and the absence of a strong storyline did not concern me - unlike my wife, who took some time to be enchanted by this charming and touching film.

Great to watch something that was a little different. I enjoyed the two stories and how they evolved. Beautiful locations and interesting characters. Relaxing and enjoyable to watch.

  • sadly disappointing; wasted opportunity.

Sadly disappointing. The half of the film set in Patagonia is irritating; the half set Wales does have some charm. It looks like if there is beautiful scenery in Patagonia it's kept way off in the background. The same is mostly true of Wales. I'm not sure why this film was made. If they'd removed all the scenes set in Patagonia it would have been more enjoyable.

I like a good foreign language film, this one was very good. The 2 stories intertwined well and the characters all kept them going, the acting was excellent The 2 countries were photographed magnificently and their cultures were represented. I should have watched again before sending it back!
