Aw, come on! If this were billed as a fantasy horror feature it MIGHT have been passable; but this conglomeration of fearsome silhouettes, splattering gore, slow-motion fights in semi-darkness, etc. etc., is NOT what happened when the Vikings reached North America. The Indians are portrayed by anachronistic nineteenth-century imagery; the Vikings as half-glimpsed monstrosities with ridiculous parodies of dark-age helmets and weapons. The best that can be said for it is that a lot of imagination has gone into the photography. Get it only if you want a laugh at how bad a quasi-historical film can be.
